A visit from Friends of the Earth

A visit from Friends of the Earth

On the 20th of April, Jody from Friends of the Earth came in to give us some facts about littering and pollution. They gave us some valuable information that we will talk about in the next paragraph.

We learnt that fourteen billion pounds of rubbish goes into our oceans every year. We also learnt that global warming affects the Earth. At the end of the talk we had a quiz. Here was one of the questions:

How many marine life animals have died each year because of sea plastic pollution?

We pledge to always reuse reduce and recycle.
